MECHANICAL ENGINEERING

The mechanical engineering group of Grünecker, Kinkeldey, Stockmair & Schwanhäusser is a team of more than 20 professionals experienced in preparing and prosecuting patent applications. Most of the members hold an advanced degree in mechanical engineering and in addition, are proficient in legal matters with respect to European and German patent protection and infringement.

Examples of the technological fields covered by the group are automotive engineering, internal combustion-engines and related controls, transmissions, machine tools, including laser based machine tools, cutting tools, metal forming machines and processes, construction machinery, process engineering, machines for processing synthetic resin, such as injection molding machines, film and photographic technology, textile machines, fluid dynamics, hydraulics, medical engineering, sports equipment, fiber technology, and others. Based on their comprehensive technical knowledge, the group members work exclusively in their professional fields so that our clients benefit from an efficient and cost-effective handling of the respective matters.

In addition, the group is permanently engaged in opposition, litigation, opinion work and licensing matters. Dependent on the requirements of the case at hand, the patent attorneys of the group cooperate in flexible teams with the firm's litigation group to ensure comprehensive services to our clients with in-depth technical and legal expertise.
